Our Story

Anna and Kristian can’t actually remember when they first met, but photographic evidence would suggest it was in 2002.

Kristian waited until Anna moved to London to ask her out …guess its true, absence really does make the heart grow fonder. They don’t entirely agree on what counts as “the first date”, but they’ve reached an understanding that it was at Maxwell’s steakhouse and Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square.

Still eager to impress the family, during their first family trip to Center Parcs, Kristian agreed to join Anna in a tandem canoe. Anna was determined to catch the family, who were already out on the lake.  Kristian was determined not to get wet. Cue the domestic …Anna caught the family, Kristian got wet. The trend has continued since.

After extensive research into dog breeds that would be good with children (Isabelle & Elliott), good with other dogs (Louis & Frankie), playful, energetic and affectionate; they decided on a Boston Terrier. What they got was Ted – who unfortunately has all of these qualities in excess. Ted has no concept of personal space, never knows when to quit and would sell either of them for a piece of cheese. Wedding warning: Ted loves a kiss whether you want one or not.      

Christmas Day. Kristian leapt out of bed, rushed downstairs to face the dangerous pre-caffeinated girlfriend. Armed with a bag of  presents, he unleashed the first attack. Jogging bottoms…its not very effective. Wounded, he deploys his second blow. A L’Occitane gift set …its mildly effective. His last hope, he delivers the final strike – chocolate and a diamond ring. Critical hit! Success, girlfriend defeated.  Level complete. New character unlocked: Bridezilla.
